#ARCstravaganza: As You Wish

This cover is so beautiful and I’ve been seeing it all over the place. Although I have not read The Hundred Lies of Lizzie Lovett, I’ve heard amazing reviews so I’m sure this one will be right up there with it! I plan on reading both As You Wish and The Hundred Lies of Lizzie Lovett before the year is out!

I was approved for this beautiful e-ARC by Netgalley for an honest review. I will post my review as it gets closer to publication day!

Happy Reading!

As You Wish by Chelsea Sedoti

as you wishWhat if you could ask for anything- and get it?

In the sandy Mojave Desert, Madison is a small town on the road between nothing and nowhere. But Eldon wouldn’t want to live anywhere else, because in Madison, everyone gets one wish—and that wish always comes true.

Some people wish for money, some people wish for love, but Eldon has seen how wishes have broken the people around him. And with the lives of his family and friends in chaos, he’s left with more questions than answers. Can he make their lives better? How can he be happy if the people around him aren’t? And what hope is there for any of them if happiness isn’t an achievable dream? Doubts build, leading Eldon to a more outlandish and scary thought: maybe you can’t wish for happiness…maybe, just maybe, you have to make it for yourself.

    1. It totally gives me that vibe too!! Goodreads says it’s YA Fantasy do we will see! I love TPB though so it’s a fun reminder of it each time I read the title. I was lucky enough to see Cary Elwes at Salt Lake Comic Con a couple years ago and he said, “Asssssss Youuu Wisssshhh” for one of the fans. I totally recorded it! He is such an amazing person! And Buttercup in Wonder Woman…there are no words!!

      1. OMIGOSH, HE DID NOT. I think I would have cried. That’s amazing, though. I’m so tempted to pick up his memoir about the recording of the film, but I haven’t made it to it because I’m horrible with nonfiction. XD But lol, yesssssssssss. I think I died a little bit when she was in there. XD Maybe she thought she was off battling Prince Humperdinks? XD

      2. I haven’t picked it up yet either but I’ve heard great things about it! I don’t do non-fiction much but I think this one would be so much fun to read!! Haha! Maybe she did! That Prince Humperdinck would’ve deserved it!

    1. I love this cover too! I’ve not read that one yet. I’m sorry you didn’t care for it. That’s why books are so fun, someone might like a book while another person doesn’t.
